Birthwork Courses
Integrating balance into birthwork is essential for helping to maximize the space in the pelvis and uterus for the baby. This can decrease interventions and improve the birth experience for both mom and baby. Learn to integrate advanced knowledge of the soft tissues in the pelvis with hands-on balancing techniques and positional choices for an easier and more positive birth experience.
Balancing Birth
This course delves into in-depth anatomy and physiology of the pelvis and its soft tissues. Learn to identify the baby’s position, rotation, and where the baby is located within the pelvis by identifying signs and symptoms in the birthing mom’s body. You will also learn advanced balancing techniques and positional options to help the baby rotate and descend. This course is appropriate for anyone seeking a deep understanding of birth and the female pelvis in relation to fetal position.

The birth experience can often leave the birthing person confused or disappointed. In this course you will learn how to help a woman to understand and process her birth experience. The course focuses on the baby’s rotations, what makes some labors longer than others, and how to understand what happened during the birth between her body and her baby.

Rebirth After Trauma
There are many people who have specific trauma experiences from their birth, or who experience their whole birth as traumatic; others feel the birth may have been traumatic for their baby.
In this course, you will learn several approaches for both baby and mom to experience a physiological rebirth. By resetting the neuro-endocrinological processes of birth and enabling physiological rotations and movements, you will be able to promote an adjusted birth experience.

Birth Processing
This process offers birth professionals around the world the opportunity to consult and understand more about a specific birth, either in real-time or after the birth. We will focus on fetal position (if known,) cervical exams (dilation, station, location and texture of cervix), labor patterns, and significant events during the delivery.
The purpose of this process is for you to more fully understand a specific birth, increase your understanding of fetal rotations and the soft tissues of the pelvis, and to gain more tools to better support future births.
